It’s here! Books can feel like they take *forever* — and then, one day, they are officially *out* in the world. It’s equal parts exhilarating and terrifying. Something I poured my heart into, but know can never be perfect nor up to my own standards, even, is now exposed and ready to jump into someone else’s hands and head. Ultimately, though, that’s the point: sociology is meant to be out there, not safeguarded in a lockbox.
